The National 4×4 Outdoors Show will be back in August 2026! Over three massive days, thousands of products will be on display from the industry’s leading outdoor adventure and lifestyle brands. Public transport is your best way to enjoy it, with extra services on Saturday and Sunday to help you get to and from the Melbourne Showgrounds.

Getting to and from Showgrounds

Friday 21 August – no trains to Showgrounds

Saturday 22 August: 

Trains will operate from Flinders Street (Platform 6) stopping only at Southern Cross (Platform 11/12) and North Melbourne (Platform 3/4) then express to Showgrounds (Platform 1).

Sunday 23 August: 

Trains will operate from Flinders Street (Platform 6) stopping only at Southern Cross (Platform 11/12) and North Melbourne (Platform 3/4) then express to Showgrounds (Platform 1).

The following bus route travels close to Showgrounds: 

Passengers can catch buses from Footscray Station and alight at Langs Road/Showgrounds.

Getting to Showgrounds

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Showgrounds service.
