New bus service - Mt Atkinson, Grandview, Rockbank
From 28 June 2026, new bus route 140A Mt Atkinson to Rockbank Station will service southern Rockbank, Grandview and Mt Atkinson estates, making it easier to access Rockbank Station, jobs and nearby suburbs.
Route 140A Mt Atkinson to Rockbank Station
- 572 new weekly bus trips
- Buses will run early morning to late night, 7 days a week:
- Weekdays from 5.15am until 11.30pm
- Saturdays from 6am until 11.30pm
- Sundays from 6am until 10.30pm
- On weekdays buses will run approximately 20 minutes from 6am to 8pm and then every 40 minutes until 10pm
- On weekends, buses will run approximately every 40 minutes from 6am to 10pm
Extension to Tarneit Station later in 2026
Route 140A will extend from Mt Atkinson to Tarneit Station once roadworks on Highline and Kirkpatrick boulevards are complete in late 2026. Buses will no longer travel on Grand Boulevard and Clara Avenue.
