Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse
Metropolitan train
Trains will operate from Flinders Street (Platforms 6) in both directions, stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 11/12) and North Melbourne (Platforms 4/3), then express to Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1).
Trains will commence from Flinders Street from 10:50am and run until 1:20pm.
Please note there will be a break in service between 1:21pm and 3:33pm.
Trains will commence from Flemington Racecourse from 3:34pm and run until 6:14pm.
Metropolitan tram
Take Route 57 trams (West Maribyrnong – Flinders Street Station) and alight at Stop 30 Flemington Drive/Epsom Road.
Metropolitan bus
Take Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) and alight at Epsom Road/Ascot Vale Road.
Take Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) and alight at Flemington Racecourse/87 Fisher Parade.
Regional train
V/Line passengers arriving at Southern Cross Station should transfer to a Flemington Racecourse service. Return trains also stop at Southern Cross Station. Please refer to the Metropolitan Trains section above for platform information.
