Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse

Metropolitan train

Connect with Tram Route 57/57A via the following train stations:

• Newmarket Station (Craigieburn Line)
• Flemington Bridge Station (Upfield Line)
• Parkville Station (Sunbury, Cranbourne & Pakenham lines)
• Melbourne Central Station and Flinders Street Station for other train connections. 

Metropolitan tram

Take regular Route 57 (West Maribyrnong – Flinders Street Station).

Extra Route 57A (Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street – Epsom Road/Maribyrnong Road) operates on selected days. Please refer to the Journey Planner for details.

Alight at Stop 30 Flemington Drive/Epsom Road.

Metropolitan bus

Take Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) and alight at Epsom Road/Ascot Vale Road.

Take Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) and alight at Flemington Racecourse/87 Fisher Parade. 

Regional train

V/Line passengers arriving at Southern Cross Station should transfer to a Flemington Racecourse service. Return trains also stop at Southern Cross Station. Please refer to the Metropolitan Trains section above for platform information.
