St Kilda Festival
Extra Trams will run to and from St Kilda Festival on Sunday 15 February.
Alternative Bus 246 shuttle services will also operate.
Tram and bus service changes will apply due road closures for the festival on Fitzroy Street, Carlisle Street, The Esplanade, Jacka Boulevard, Beaconsfield Parade and Acland Street.

Getting to and from the festival
Passengers can board train services and alight at ANZAC Station on the Cranbourne & Pakenham Lines, or at Windsor Station or Balaclava Station on the Sandringham Line and connect with tram services running via St Kilda.

Extra trams will operate to and from the St Kilda Festival as Route 12a, 16a, 64a and 96a, from 12noon to 11pm.
- Route 12a shuttle trams will operate between the Remand Centre/ Spenser Street and Stop 143 Fitzroy Street/ Park Street, via Clarendon Street and Park Streets.
- Route 16a shuttle trams will operate between Hawthorn/ Dandenong Roads and Stop 32 Havlock St/ Carlisle Street, via Balaclava Road and Carlisle Street.
- Route 64a shuttle trams will operate between Melbourne Central Station to Stop 30 St Kilda Junction, via St Kilda Road.
- Route 96a shuttle trams will operate between the Remand Centre/ Spenser Street and Stop 132 St Kilda Station, via Canterbury Road.
Altered tram services will operate due to road closures on Fitzroy Street and Carlisle Street for the festival:
- Route 16a trams operate in two sections:
- between Melbourne University and Stop 30 St Kilda Junction
- between Kew and Stop 32 Havelock Street/ Carlisle Street
- Route 96a trams operate between East Brunswick and Stop 132 St Kilda Station.

Customers can catch the following bus routes close to St Kilda:
- Bus 246 Clifton Hill to Elsternwick
- Bus 606 Fisherman’s Bend to Elsternwick Station
- Bus 600 Southland SC to St Kilda Station
- Bus 922 Southland SC St Kilda to Station
Service Disruptions
Please note, due to the road closures Bus 246, 606, 600 and 922 and services will divert in both directions from first to last service.
Bus 246
Bus 246 from Elsternwick will divert from Glen Huntly Road via Brighton Road and St Kilda Road to recommence regular services from Stop 916 Punt Road/ High Street to Clifton Hill.
Bus 246 from Clifton Hill will divert from Punt Road via St Kilda Road and Brighton Road to recommence regular services on Glen Huntly Road to Elsternwick.
Bus 246 passengers can board dedicated shuttle services to connect with stops between Prahran and Elsternwick (see below).
Bus 600 and 922
Bus 600 and 922 to St Kilda will terminate at Stop 4617 Barkly Street/ Mitford Street and not service sections of Barkly Street and Fitzroy Street.
Bus 600 and 922 to Southland will commence from Stop 7992 Mitford Street/ Barkly Street and not service sections of Fitzroy Street, Grey Street and Barkly Street.
Bus 606
Bus 606 to Elsternwick will terminate at Stop 10088 44 Park Street.
Bus 606 to Fisherman’s Bend will commence from Stop 22906 Mary Street/ Park Street.
Bus 606 services will not operate between St Kilda and Elsternwick Station in both directions.

Shuttle Services
A shuttle service will operate for Bus 246 passengers in lieu of the 246 diversions, stopping all stops. Shuttles will run via Glen Huntly Road and Punt Road between Elsternwick and Prahran from first service to 7.30pm.
- Bus 246 shuttle services to Clifton Hill will operate between Elsternwick Station and Stop 916 Punt Road/High Street.
- Bus 246 shuttle services to Elsternwick will operate between Stop 1114 Punt Road/ High Street to Elsternwick Station.
Regional train
Getting to and from the festival
Passengers can board train services and connect with Metropolitan train and tram services at Southern Cross, Flinders Street and Town Hall Stations. Please see Metropolitan Train and Tram information.
