Metropolitan train
Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse
Trains will run every 10 – 20 minutes between Flinders Street, Southern Cross, North Melbourne, and Flemington Racecourse Stations. There will be a break in services, with the last train departing Flinders Street towards Flemington Racecourse at 4:44pm. Trains will recommence from Flemington Racecourse towards Flinders Street from 8pm.
Trains are also running to support an event at Footscray Park.

Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse
Extra Trams will operate via Route 57a between Stop 01 Flinders Street / Elizabeth Street and Stop 30 Flemington Drive/ Epsom Road, these trams run along Flemington Road, close to Parkville Station.
Ordinary route 57 trams continue to service North Melbourne and Maribyrnong.
Unfortunately, all trams to and from Flemington Racecourse have steps. Consider trains and buses if stepless travel is required.

The following bus route travels close to Flemington Racecourse, refer to timetables to see when they run. Unfortunately, these routes conclude prior to the event finishing.
- Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds via Footscray) Flemington Racecourse/Fischer Parade
- Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds via Newmarket) Epsom Rd/Ascot Vale Rd.
