The Big Bash League is back for another season – bringing all the colour and excitement to Marvel Stadium. Extra services will help you get to and from the match on Thursday 15 January.

The match will begin at 7:15 pm and concludes at approximately 10:25 pm.

Additional services for the following lines depart after the match:

• Mernda, Greensborough, Ringwood, Glen Waverley, Cheltenham, Craigieburn and Upfield

Pakenham and Cranbourne Passengers are to alight on  Cheltenham services from Southern Cross (Platform 13), then transfer at Caulfield for a bus.

Frankston Passengers are to alight on Cheltenham services from Southern Cross (Platform 13), then transfer at Cheltenham for a bus.

Sandringham Passengers are to alight on Cheltenham services from Southern Cross (Platform 13), then transfer at South Yarra for a bus.

Werribee, Williamstown and Sunbury Passengers are to alight on any available Northern Group service from Southern Cross (Platform 14), then transfer at North Melbourne for a bus.

Getting to and from Marvel Stadium

Extra trams will operate as Route 30a via La Trobe Street, and as Route 86a via Bourke Street.

Take advantage of the city’s Free Tram Zone which extends from Queen Victoria Market to Docklands, Spring Street, Flinders Street Station and Federation Square.

Customers can catch the following bus routes close to Marvel Stadium:

• Route 232 (Altona North to City)
• Route 235 (Fishermans Bend to City)
• Route 302 (Box Hill to City)
• Route 304 (Doncaster SC to City)
• Route 905 (The Pines SC to City)
• Route 906 (Warrandyte to City)
• Route 907 (Mitcham to City)

Please note, services may terminate prior to the end of the match.

Significant service changes and coach replacements will be in place on several lines.

Additional services for the Geelong lines have been planned. Please note that coaches replace evening trains between Southern Cross and Waurn Ponds from 8:30pm. Additional event coaches will depart from Southern Cross.
