BBL Cricket at GMHBA Stadium
Public transport for the KFC BBL Men’s Cricket match at GMHBA Stadium on Monday 15 and Sunday 21 December.
The matches will run from:
- Round 15 Melbourne Renegades v Brisbane Heat: 15 December 2025, 7.15pm Start
- Round 15 Melbourne Renegades v Hobart Hurricanes: 21 December 2025, 7.15pm Start

Metropolitan train
Getting to and from Melbourne
Regular trains will operate via Southern Cross Station for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from South Geelong.
Metropolitan tram
Trams operate via Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations, for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from South Geelong.
Regional bus
Getting to and from GMHBA Stadium
Buses in Geelong will experience service changes due to road closures outside of GMHBA Stadium before and after the match.
Road closures will be implemented on Moorabool Street from 1.5hours prior to start time until 1 hour post finish time, in order to facilitate the safe arrival and departure of patrons.
Bus Routes 1, 24, 41, 42, 53, 55 and 101 will not service selected bus stops on Moorabool, Lonsdale Street and Yarra Street.
The following stops will not be serviced during these times:
- Moorabool Street/Balliang St
- Moorabool Street/Park Crescent
- Moorabool Street/Kardinia Park and Ride
- Kardinia Park and Ride/Moorabool Street
- Moorabool Street/Kardinia Park
- Moorabool Street/Lonsdale Street
- Lonsdale Street/South Geelong Station
Passengers are advised to use existing bus stops at:
- Moorabool Street/Kilgour Street
- Moorabool Street/Maud Street
Passengers please note there will be temporary bus stops at:
- South Geelong Railway Station/Lonsdale St (26 Lonsdale Street; in Yarra Street)
- Yarra St/Balliang St (262 Yarra Street, 259 Yarra Street)
Regional train
Getting to and from GMHBA Stadium
Passengers travelling to and from the match can catch services travelling via South Geelong.
Extra trains will operate for passengers returning to Southern Cross after the match.
