Metropolitan train
Getting to and from Melbourne
Regular trains will operate via Southern Cross Station for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from Ballarat.
Metropolitan tram
Getting to and from Melbourne
Trams operate via Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations, for passengers wishing to connect to a regional train travelling to and from Ballarat.
Metropolitan bus
Getting to and from Victoria Park, Ballarat
A free event bus shuttle will operate between Ballarat Station and Victoria Park, from 10:50am. Passengers arriving at Ballarat are advised to walk via Coffee Palace Lane to connect with bus shuttles operating to and from Mair Street and alight at Victoria Park temporary bus terminal in Gillies Street.
Bus Shuttles will continue to operate in the evening via Ballarat Station to connect with trains returning to Melbourne.
Regional train
Getting to and from Victoria Park, Ballarat
Passengers arriving at Southern Cross station are advised to change trains and catch a Ballarat service.
Extra trains will operate for passengers returning to Southern Cross after the event, departing Ballarat station at:
- 11.41pm
- 12.07am (Sunday morning)
- 1.07am (Sunday morning)
- 2.04am (Sunday morning)
Passengers arriving at Ballarat can connect with free event bus shuttles operating between Ballarat station and Victoria Park, please see the Regional Bus section for further information.
