PTV Mobile App Update - Thursday 27 November 2025

PTV apps that haven’t been updated to version 5.2.0 will not be able to access key app functions, including journey planning, navigation and myki features.

If you can’t update the app straight away, you can still:

• Use the Transport Victoria website for journey planning and myki features
• Mobile myki within the Google Wallet app will continue to be available.

During the updates, you can also top up your myki card at:

• hundreds of shops including all 7-Elevens within the myki boundary
• staffed train stations
• myki machines at train stations and tram stops.

You’ll be able to access PTV mobile app once the update is complete via the relevant app store, depending on your device.
