More buses, more often on routes 73 and 74
From 16 November 2025, we’re adding 66 trips per week to routes 73 and 74.
Buses will run later most days, giving you more ways to travel at times that work for you.
The extra services, including on weekends, will make it easier to catch the train to Melbourne, go to events, and return to Gisborne on the same day.
The arrival times of afternoon buses for Gisborne primary schools will change, further information is available from your school.
We’re upgrading the bus stop at Gisborne Station, coming in early 2026.
Routes 73 and 74 will continue to use the same route path and will use the new stop at Gisborne Station once completed.
