Rugby International Tour – Australia (Wallabies) v British & Irish Lions

For the first time in 12 years, the British & Irish Lions Tour returns to Australia for a festival of rugby. The British Irish Lions clash with the Wallabies in this high-stakes match at the MCG on Saturday 26 July.
Kick-off is at 7:45 pm.

Getting to and from the match
Metropolitan train
Buses replace trains all day between North Melbourne and:
- Werribee
- Sunbury
- Williamstown.
We're running extra services to get you to and from the MCG.

Metropolitan tram
Route 70 trams from Docklands to Wattle Park run from Elizabeth St/Flinders St to Stop 7C MCG/John Cain Arena.
You can also catch a Route 75 tram from Vermont South to Central Pier Docklands and get off at Stop 13 Wellington Parade/Simpson Street.
Metropolitan bus
Route 246 buses from Elsternwick to Clifton Hill via St Kilda stop close to the MCG.
Regional train
Coaches replace trains all day between Southern Cross Station and:
- Bairnsdale
- Gisborne
- Bendigo.
We're also running replacement coaches between East Pakenham and Traralgon due to Gippsland line upgrade works.
