Knotfest Music Festival returns to Melbourne at the Flemington Racecourse!
Public transport is your best way to enjoy the action and we're running extra services to help you get home from Flemington Racecourse on Friday 28 February.
The event runs from 11am to 10pm.

Metropolitan train
Getting to Flemington Racecourse
Trains run from Flinders Street (Platforms 8/9), stopping at Southern Cross (Platforms 13/14), stopping at North Melbourne (Platforms 5/6) then express to Flemington Racecourse (Platforms 1/2).
- From 9:40am, trains leave every 15 minutes.
- From 1:10pm, trains leave every 20 minutes.
The last train from Flinders Street is at 3:30pm.
Leaving from Flemington Racecourse
Trains run from Flemington Racecourse (Platforms 1/2), stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5), Southern Cross (Platform 13) and Flinders Street (Platform 10).
- From 8:20pm, trains leave every 20 minutes.
- From 9pm, trains leave every 15 minutes.
- From 10pm, trains leave every 10 minutes.
The last train from Flemington Racecourse is at 11:30pm.
Metropolitan tram
Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse
Extra Route 57a trams run between Stop 1 Flinders Street/Elizabeth Street and Stop 32 Sandown Road/Epsom Road via Flemington Road.
Metropolitan bus
Getting to and from Flemington Racecourse
Catch a Route 472 bus from Footscray Station to Langs Road/Showgrounds.
Note: the last bus may depart prior to the end of the event.
Regional train
Getting to Flemington Racecourse
Catch a Melbourne Showgrounds train from North Melbourne or Southern Cross stations.
Leaving the Flemington Racecourse
Catch any train from Melbourne Showgrounds to Southern Cross or North Melbourne Stations and change to a regional train.
