There are extra trains running to get you home from the MCG. 

Extra return train service from Jolimont Station 

• Mernda – leaving at 10:24pm from Platform 2 
• Heidelberg – leaving at 10:19pm from Platform 2 
• Flinders Street – leaving at 10:19pm from Platform 1

Extra return train service from Richmond Station 

• Glen Waverley – leaving at 10:32pm from Platform 10 
• Caulfield – leaving at 10:20pm from Platform 4 
• Sandringham – leaving at 10:16pm from Platform 2 
• Dandenong – leaving at 10:32pm from Platform 6 
• Ringwood – leaving at 10:37 from Platform 9

Getting to and from the MCG 

Route 48

• Passengers at Southern Cross Station can reach Stop 11 Jolimont Station/MCG by using Route 48 trams along Collins Street.   

Route 70

• Extra trams will operate from Flinders Street / Elizabeth Street (Stop D6) and Stop 7C MCG/John Cain Arena. 

Route 75

• Extra trams will operate from Flinders Street / Elizabeth Street (Stop D6) and Stop 11 Jolimont Station/ MCG.
