Heading to the city for New Year’s Eve – Plan your journey in advance

This year Parliament, Flagstaff and Melbourne Central stations will be open until 3am on New Year’s Eve.

Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations will be open all night. 

Flinders Street Station is likely to be very busy, consider using Parliament, Melbourne Central or Flagstaff stations instead. 

Extra train services will run throughout the night to get you to the city and back home again.  Ensure you check when your last service will leave.
