Extra public transport services are running to and from Dom Dolla at Flemington Racecourse on both days.

Friday 13 December

 Metropolitan train

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate express from Flinders Street Station (Platform 7, 8 and 9) between 4:01pm and 7:30pm inclusive, stopping only at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14) and at North Melbourne (Platform 6), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

The first Special train is to depart Flinders Street station.

• 4:01pm until 4:32pm (every 30 minutes)
• 4:51pm to 7:30pm (every 20 minutes)

Leaving from the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1 and 2) between 8:59pm and 12:11am inclusive, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5) and Southern Cross Station (Platform 13), and then to Flinders Street Station (Platform 9 and 10).

Trains to depart from:

• 8:59pm until 9:59pm (every 15 minutes)
• 10:10pm until 10:50pm (every 10 minutes)
• 10:59pm until 12:11am (every 8 minutes)
• Last train to depart at 12:11am

Saturday 14 December

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate express from Flinders Street Station (Platform 10) between 3:40pm and 6:40pm inclusive, stopping only at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14) and at North Melbourne (Platform 6), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

The first Special train is to depart Flinders Street station.

• 3:40pm until 5:00pm (every 10 minutes)
• 5:20pm to 6:40pm (every 20 minutes)

Leaving from the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1 and 2) between 8:59pm and 12:10am inclusive, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 5) and Southern Cross Station (Platform 13), and then to Flinders Street Station (Platform 10).

Trains to depart from:

• 8:59pm until 10:01pm (every 15 minutes)
• 10:10pm until 10:50pm (every 10 minutes)
• 10:59pm until 11:59pm (every 8 minutes)
• Last train to depart at 12:10am

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.
