Timetable and route path changes for routes 603, 604 and 605

From 20 October 2024, passengers on routes 603, 604 and 605 will have new timetables and route path changes due to the completion of major works on Anzac Station and the reopening of nearby roads.

Passengers will benefit from new timetables, making it easier to access key destinations such as Burnley, Hawksburn, Elsternwick, and Anzac stations, as well as the new Australia Post head office in Burnley.

When the Metro Tunnel opens in 2025, the new routes 604 and 605 paths will connect bus, tram and train services  at Anzac Station for the first time. This will allow passengers to connect with the train for quick access to Melbourne CBD, opening more travel opportunities.

To plan your journey, view Route 603, Route 604 and Route 605 timetables, download the PTV app, visit Journey planner or call 1800 800 007 to order a printed copy of your timetable.

What’s changing?

New bus stops on Domain Road

There will be new bus stops on Domain Road.

We know the Metro Tunnel will change the way people use public transport services in the Anzac precinct.

Our planning will consider new travel patterns once the Metro Tunnel opens – as well as community feedback, infrastructure requirements and vehicle movements in the area before making a decision on the delivery and timing of any network changes.

The tram infrastructure around Anzac Station has been designed to accommodate various options.
