Extra public transport services are running to and from Season Premiere Raceday at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 3 August 2024.

Metropolitan train
Getting to the Racecourse
Train services will operate from Southern Cross Station (Platform 8), North Melbourne (Platform 2), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).
Trains will depart Southern Cross Station from:
- 10.45am until 1:05pm every 20 minutes
Leaving the Racecourse
Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1), stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 1) then Southern Cross Station (Platform 8).
Trains returning to Southern Cross Station will operate express.
- 4:15pm until 4:50pm every 35 minutes
- 5:28pm until 6:28pm every 20 minutes

Getting to and from the Racecourse
Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

The following bus route travels close to the Racecourse:
- Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the music festival)

Getting to the Racecourse
Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
