Extra public transport services are running to and from VRC Country Race Day at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 22 June.

Gates open 11am.

 Metropolitan train

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flinders Street Station (Platform 10), stopping at Southern Cross Station (Platform 14), North Melbourne (Platform 6), Melbourne Showgrounds (Platform 1) and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

Train will depart Flinders Street Station from:

• 10.41am until 10:51am every 10 minutes (via Melbourne Showgrounds)
• 11:11am until 1:02pm every 20 minutes

Leaving the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) stopping at Melbourne Showgrounds (Platform1), North Melbourne (Platform 5), Southern Cross Station (Platform 13) then Flinders Street Station (Platform 10).

• 3:50pm until 4:19pm every 20 minutes
• 4:38pm until 5:19pm every 20 minutes (via Melbourne Showgrounds)
• 5:30pm until 5:50pm every 10 minutes

Getting to and from the Racecourse

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

The following bus route travels close to the Racecourse:

• Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the music festival)

Getting to the Racecourse

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
