Public transport for the 2024 Easter long weekend

Events > Public holiday

Public transport services will operate to a public holiday timetable on Good Friday 29 March and Easter Monday 1 April, but some services may be altered or will not run.

Services will run to a normal Saturday timetable on Easter Saturday and a normal Sunday timetable on Easter Sunday.

Some regional bus services will operate a special Public Holiday timetable on these dates. Please check with your local service provider.

During public holidays, your daily myki fare is capped at $7.20 ($3.60 for concessions and seniors). You can enjoy all-day unlimited travel.

While some concession holders may benefit from free travel on weekends, please note this entitlement does not extend to public holiday weekend timetables. During public holidays, normal myki fare caps apply to all passengers, including seniors.

For more information, visit our fares and concessions pages.
