Extra public transport services are running to and from VRC Super Saturday Raceday at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 9 March 2024.

Metropolitan train
Getting to the Racecourse
Train services will operate from Southern Cross Station (Platform 8) to Flemington Racecourse stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 2), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).
Trains depart Southern Cross Station from:
- 10:47am until 1.07pm every 20 minutes
Leaving the Racecourse
Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Southern Cross Station, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 1), and then Southern Cross Station (Platform 8).
Trains depart from:
- 4.43pm until 5:27pm every 40 minutes
- 5:55pm until 7.23pm every 20 minutes

Getting to and from the Racecourse
Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

- Route 404 (please note service may finish prior to the end of the raceday)

Getting to the Racecourse
Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.

Passengers are advised to catch any train from the Racecourse and alight at Southern Cross or North Melbourne stations and change to a regional train.
