Public transport for the Red Hot Chili Peppers Concert: Tuesday 7 February 2023

Legendary rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers is returning to Marvel Stadium. Public transport is your best way to enjoy it, to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Extra services will help you get home from Marvel Stadium on Tuesday 7 February.

The gates open at 5:00pm.

Arriving at Southern Cross before the concert, as follows:

• Craigieburn departing at 5:51pm, arriving on Platform 11 at 6:48pm

Trains depart Southern Cross after the concert ends, as follows:

• Mernda departing at 11:21pm and 11:52pm, Platform 9
• Eltham departing at 11:29pm, Platform 9
• Greensborough departing at 12:00am, Platform 9
• Flinders Street via loop departing at 11:08pm, 11:11pm, 11:08pm, 11:19pm, 11:38pm, 11:41pm, 11:54pm and 12:09am from Platform 9 
• Sunbury departing at 11:15pm and 11:25pm, Platform 12
• Craigieburn departing at 11:10pm and 11:30pm, Platform 11

Trains depart Flinders Street after the concert ends, as follows:

• Lilydale departing at 11:53pm, Platform 3
• Belgrave departing at 11:38pm, Platform 3
• Glen Waverley departing at 11:42pm and 11:55pm, Platform 4
• Frankston departing at 11:45pm and 11:55pm, Platform 7

Extra trams will operate as Route 30a between East Melbourne and Stop D1 Etihad Stadium via La Trobe Street, and as Route 86a between East Melbourne and Stop D1 Etihad Stadium via Bourke Street.
