Extra public transport services are running to and from VRC Christmas Raceday at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday 17 December 2022.

First race: 12:35pm

 Metropolitan train

Getting to the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Southern Cross Station (Platform 8) to Flemington Racecourse stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 2), and then to Flemington Racecourse Station (Platform 1).

Trains depart Finders Street Station from:

• 11:23am until 1:43pm every 20 minutes

Leaving the Racecourse

Train services will operate from Flemington Racecourse (Platform 1) to Southern Cross Station, stopping at North Melbourne (Platform 1) into Southern Cross Station (Platform 8).

Trains to depart from:

• 4:39pm until 5:59pm every 40 minutes
• 6:19pm until 7:19pm every 20 minutes

Passengers can catch a Route 57 tram, alighting at Stop 29 Racecourse Road/Flemington Racecourse.

Passengers arriving at North Melbourne and Southern Cross stations are advised to change trains and catch a Racecourse service.
