Timetable changes on the Echuca and Swan Hill lines
What’s changing on the Echuca Line?
- From Saturday 16 July 2022, the brand-new Huntly Station will open.
- From Friday 1 July 2022, the Echuca Line timetable will be updated and published to show the Huntly station stop. There will be no change to running times.
- 18 services a week will stop at Huntly Station.
- There will be one return service to Melbourne on weekdays and two return services on Saturdays and Sundays.
- From Saturday 16 July 2022, passengers will need a valid myki to travel to and from Huntly Station. See below for myki information.
- From Saturday 16 July 2022, passengers travelling to and from Goornong Station on the Echuca Line will also need a valid myki to travel.
What’s changing on the Swan Hill Line?
- From Sunday 17 July 2022, the brand-new Raywood Station will open on the Swan Hill Line.
- From Friday 1 July 2022, a new timetable for the Swan Hill Line will be published to include the Raywood Station stop. Services between Swan Hill and Raywood will depart two minutes earlier to allow for the stop at Raywood.
- 28 services a week will stop at Raywood Station.
- There will be two return services to Melbourne on weekdays and two return services on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Kerang and Swan Hill coaches will be adjusted to align with the new timetable and ensure connections are maintained.
- From Sunday 17 July 2022, passengers will need a valid myki to travel to and from Raywood Station. See below for myki information.

When do I have to start using myki at these stations?
- Huntly and Goornong: myki fares are payable from Saturday 16 July 2022
- Raywood: myki fares are payable from Sunday 17 July 2022
Where can I get a myki?
Passengers are advised to purchase a myki card in advance of travel using one of the methods below:
- mobile myki on Your Android phone, via Google Pay
- premium station ticket offices
- PTV Hubs
- online at ptv.vic.gov.au
- by calling 1800 800 007. Allow 10days for delivery of a myki and around 45 minutes for online top ups.
- myki machines at selected stations and stops (full fare and concession myki cards only). Passengers are advised that myki card vending machines are not available at Huntly, Goornong and Raywood stations, Quick Top Up machines are available at these stations for top ups with a contactless VISA and MasterCard.
Passengers can also purchase a myki on board the Echuca and Swan Hill line services. Conductors will have full fare ($30) and concession ($15) myki cards available to purchase. These cards will be preloaded with $24 and $12 of myki money respectively. Onboard myki sales are cash only.
What myki zones are these stations in?
Huntly and Goornong: Zone 13/14
Note: Passengers travelling to or from Huntly and Goornong stations will pay the Zone 13 fare. The Echuca Line default fare is Zone 13.
Raywood: Zone 15/16
Note: Passengers travelling to or from Raywood Station will pay the Zone 15 fare.
The Swan Hill Line default fare is Zone 15.

Will I need a paper ticket for travel beyond these stations?
Yes, you will need to purchase a V/Line paper ticket if you are travelling beyond Huntly, Raywood or Goornong stations.
Paper tickets can be purchased on board the train.
