The Labour Day public holiday falls on Monday 8 March.

Public transport services will run to a public holiday timetable, but some services may be altered or will not run.

Before you travel

When travelling on public transport you must wear a fitted face mask covering your nose and mouth, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so, and ensure you wear it for your entire journey.

Trains will run to a Saturday timetable, with no Night Network services.

Trams will operate to a Saturday frequency with no Night Network services.

This means that if your tram normally runs every seven minutes, it will continue to do so. However, times may differ slightly, with last tram approximately one hour earlier than the normal Saturday timetable.

City Circle trams run to a normal Monday timetable.

V/Line rail and coach services will run to an altered Saturday timetable.
