New bus interchange at Carrum Station for bus routes 708, 780, 833, 857 and Night Bus Route 970

From Sunday 20 December 2020 services on bus routes 708, 780, 833, 857 (heading north towards Chelsea Station) and Night Bus Route 970 will stop at bays at the new bus interchange on Station Street, next to Carrum Station.

The new bus interchange is part of the Carrum Level Crossing Removal Project that saw the removal of the Station Street level crossing and Carrum Station upgrade.

• Bus stops for routes 708, 780, 833 and Night Bus Route 970 will be located at new bays at the bus interchange on Station Street. Services will continue to travel along, but no longer stop on, McLeod Road.
• Route 857 (travelling north towards Chelsea Station) will stop at a new bay at the bus interchange on Station Street, next to Carrum Station. All services will travel straight along Station Street but will no longer travel along Nepean Highway.
• Route 857 (travelling south towards Dandenong Station) will continue to use the existing stop on McLeod Road. Services will travel straight along Station Street before turning left onto McLeod Road. The service will travel via McLeod Road and Valletta Street before turning onto Walkers Road.
