Route 704 will go to Westall Station

Route 704 bus services will be extended to Westall Station, so you can leave the car at home to catch the train.

As part of these improvements, the timetable will also be upgraded to include over 200 extra trips a week and weekend services.

Buses will run later on weekdays and get weekend services for the first time, making it easier to use public transport to travel to work, school, shopping and leisure activities.

Services will continue to run every 30 minutes in peak periods. They will be more regular, around every 40 minutes, between peaks on weekdays (currently they run every 60-90 minutes) and on weekends.

To make this possible, the Department of Transport is building a new roundabout at the intersection of Westall Road service road and Rayhur Street.

Works will start from March 2020 and take around three months to complete.

Check the VicRoads website for information about any road changes on Rayhur Street and Westall Road service road during works.

Start date for the Route 704 upgrades will be confirmed closer to the end of road works with full details, including the new route map and timetable, published one month before they start.
