Public transport for the AFL State of Origin Victoria v All Stars Match: Friday 28 February 2020
Extra public transport is running for all AFL fans for the Bushfire Appeal AFL State of Origin game between Victoria and the All Stars!
It's anticipated 53,000 people will be attending this unique game, with the first bounce at 7.50pm.
Don't forget the night kicks off with the AFLW operner between Collingwood and Melbourne at 5:40pm.
Please be aware of the following disruptions that may affect your journey:

Cranbourne and Pakenham lines: Buses replace trains from 8.10pm Friday 28 February to last train Sunday 1 March

Frankston Line: Buses replace trains between Flinders Street, Parliament and Moorabbin from 8pm Friday 28 February to 9pm Saturday 29 February

Frankston Line: Buses replace trains Flinders Street, Parliament and Moordialloc from 9pm Saturday 29 February to last train Sunday 1 March

Werribee Line: Buses replace trains between Newport and Werribee from 8.20pm Friday 28 February to 6.30am Saturday 29 February

Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines: Coaches replace trains from Friday 28 February to Sunday 1 March

Metropolitan train
Services will operate to the normal weekday schedule. Southern Cross Station is the closest to Marvel Stadium.
Getting to Marvel Stadium
The following additional services will operate to Southern Cross station:
- Sunbury departing at 6.33pm.
Leaving Marvel Stadium
The following additional services will operate to Southern Cross Station.
- Eltham departing at 10:37pm, Platform 9
- Mernda departing at 10:41pm and 10:50pm, Platform 9
- Greensborough departing at 10.54pm,Platform 9
- Glen Waverley departing at 10.42pm and 10.50pm, Platform 10
- Upper Ferntree Gully at 10.46pm, Platform 11
- Lilydale at 10:54pm, Platform 11
- Sandringham departing at 10.39pm and 10.57pm, Platform 13
- Craigieburn departing at 10.56pm, Platform 11
- Sunbury departing at 11.01pm, Platform 11
- Flinders Street departing at 10.47pm, and 10.52pm, platform 13

Night Train
If you're kicking on after the game, Night Train services will be operating as usual on Friday night.
Night Train runs hourly on all lines, all night, except Stony Point and Flemington Racecourse.

Metropolitan tram
Services will operate to the normal weekday timetable. There will also be the following additional services:
From 5pm to 11pm, Route 86a will operate as seperate shuttle services between:
- Stop D11 Docklands District and Stop 7 Bourke and Russell Streets and between
- Stop D1 Etihad Stadium and Stop 12 St Vincent’s Plaza.

Night Tram
If you're kicking on after the game, Night Tram services will be operating as usual on Friday night.
Night Tram runs every 30 minutes all night on Routes 19, 67, 75, 86, 96 and 109.

Regional train
Services will operate to a normal weekday timetable. There will be additional services on some lines. Some V/Line stations will be serviced by coaches running direct to Southern Cross Station Coach Terminal.
Geelong line
After the game
Passengers for Geelong / Waurn Ponds can catch the 10.45pm train service from Southern Cross Station which will have additional seats. This service will be delayed and depart 10:55pm
Passengers for Waurn Ponds can catch the 11:30pm train service from Southern Cross Station which will have additional seats.
Ballarat line
Before the Game
The 3:15pm Wendouree to Southern Cross train will have additional seats.
After the Game
Passengers for Bacchus Marsh can catch the additional service 10.55pm train service from Southern Cross Station which will have extra capacity. This service will be delayed and depart 10:55pm
Passengers for Wendouree can catch the 10:55pm train service from Southern Cross Station which will have extra capacity. This service will be delayed and depart at 11:05pm.
Bendigo line
After the Game
Passengers can catch the 10.52pm service from Southern Cross Station which will have extra capacity. This service will be delayed and depart 11:02pm
Seymour line
After the Game
Additional coaches will depart from Southern Cross Station at 10:55pm setting down all stations to Seymour
Traralgon line

Night Coach departs from Southern Cross Coach terminal travelling to Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Seymour and Traralgon.
